On the afternoon of Saturday, 15th June, Haggerston School in London became the epicentre of charitable football with our Charity Football Tournament, held for the third year. Despite the challenging weather, we faced the rain with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit.

The tournament, organised by Argentina FC, saw the participation of 25 teams: 9 women's teams and 16 men's teams. In the exciting matches, the winning teams were London Welsh, who triumphed in the men's final against last year's champions, Barrilete Cósmico, and Popurrí FC, who won the women's final against Beasts From the East.

The barbecue was a resounding success, offering both meat and vegetarian options, thanks to generous donations from Casa Argentina and La Patagonia. The dessert table also stood out with delicious contributions from the charity's community of friends.

The raffle was spectacular, featuring prizes that included dozens of empanadas and alfajores from Chango Empanadas, wines donated by the Argentine Embassy, tickets to No te Va a Gustar donated by De Puta Madre Club, a Crystal Palace football signed by the players, and an Everton shirt also signed by the team, both donated by Socios.com, tickets to La Malafamera, and some bottles of whisky donated by María García Muro.

A special mention goes to all the teams and their captains for raising money for Fundación Más Humanidad. Additionally, we had the honour of a live call with Tere from the foundation, who shared some very heartfelt and real words about the organisation's work.

We also thank the barbecue team, the food and raffle sales team, Juanpe for setting the mood with some cumbia and reggaeton, the referees for managing the matches with respect and fair play, Pachu and Valen for capturing memorable photos, and all the other invisible hands that helped out on the day. A big thank you to A10 Removals for the transportation and Breadwinners for their bread contributions.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers, sponsors, and donors who made this event possible. Thanks to your effort and dedication, we raised approximately £9,500 for Fundación Más Humanidad.
