Charity Tournament - Game Rules

Game dynamics

  1. Each game will last for 17 mins, with no side changes.

  2. Before the game begins, the referee and captains will do the draw to choose the kick off and sides.

  3. After scoring a goal, the opponent team will resume the game with a kick off from the center of the pitch.

  4. It is forbidden to slide at any moment if you are next to an opponent (it doesnโ€™t matter if you touch your opponent or not).

  5. Throws-in will be done with the foot.

  6. Throws-in can be delivered to the box area.

  7. Goalkeepers are allowed to leave the box at any time and go anywhere in the pitch.

  8. Goals can be scored from anywhere in the pitch.

  9. Players from the opponent team are allowed to be in the box area of your team.

  10. After getting a pass made with a foot from a team mate, goalkeepers cannot take the balls with their hands.

  11. Goal kicks are done from the ground with the feet.

  12. There is no offside.

  13. In case of a handball, the referee will judge the intention of the player and decide whether to award a free kick.

Free kicks

  1. All free kicks are indirect except for free shooting inside the rival area.

  2. All free kicks in the rival area are executed as a penalty.

  3. If the goalkeeper receives the ball with his hand after a pass with his foot, a penalty for rival team will be granted.

  4. You have to leave a distance of 3 meters around the ball (wall)

  5. The team that runs the free kick can play quickly unless the referee is giving an indication.

  6. The penalty is executed from the penalty point and standing (one foot remains supported)

  7. If there is no penalty point, it is executed counting 5 steps.

  8. The goalkeeper must have at least one foot on the bottom line when the penalty is executed

  9. When sliding or trying to play the ball while in the floor, a free kick for rival team is granted

Substitutions

  1. Unlimited substitutions can be made whenever the referee is requested.

  2. Roll-in-roll-out is allowed (players who were replaced, can get back in the game later on).

  3. The game has to be stopped to make a substitution.

  4. If a player has had a hit in their head and the referee considers it might be risky for them to keep playing, the injured player has to be replaced. They can only come back if the referee considers it is safe to do so.

Tournament dynamics

  1. At least 3 players of a team must appear so that a match can be played.

  2. Not presenting the minimum of players is considered Walk Over (WO), being 3-0 defeat for the rival team.

  3. There will be a 5-minute tolerance to appear to the matches.

  4. After 5 minutes the delayed team will start 0-3

  5. After 10 minutes the delayed team will lose the match by WO

  6. In the group area, 3 points will be given when winning a match, 1 for a draw, 0 for defeat.

  7. At the end of the group stage, positions will be defined by the number of points earned during the stage.

  8. In case of a tie between 2 or more teams at the end of the group stage, the positions will be defined firstly by goal difference; in case they are still tied, by goals in favor and in case the tie still continues, a draw will take place in charge of the tournament organization.

  9. Initial tournament positions will be by a draw

Tie in Playoff Stage

  1. In the Playoff stage, in case of a tie a penalty shootout will take place.

  2. Each team will shoot 1 penalty each in the same goal (defined by the referee beforehand) and continue till there is a difference in the score after both teams has taken their penalties.

  3. Only players who have participated in the game for at least 1 minute are able to shoot.

  4. Players who were in the bench when the game finished are allowed to take a penalty if they had played at least 1 minute.

  1. You will receive a yellow card in case of: Excesive use of force, reiteration of fouls (4), handball that interrupts a clear goal occasion, delaying on resuming the game, diving to try to get a foul (simulation).

  2. When being booked with a yellow card, the sanctioned player will be sent off and cannot play for 2 minutes.

  3. If a sanction is repeated during a match, the sanctioned player will get red carded and will not be able to play again in the tournament.

  4. Any unsportmanlike conduct will be sanctioned with expulsion from the game and the tournament.

  5. Verbally assaulting an opponent is considered unsportsmanlike behavior.

  6. Physically assaulting an opponent is considered unsportsmanlike behavior.

  7. Lack of intention to go for the ball will be considered unsportsmanlike behavior.

  8. Any unsportsmanlike behavior that is not described in this regulation will remain at the resolution of the referee and organizing committee.
