Tournament format

Group Stage

  • There will be 6 groups of 3 teams each.

  • Each team will play two games in the group stage facing off against the other teams in their group.

  • Every team will progress to the knockout stage. The final position on the group will determine to what knockout stage it will qualify.

  • Please see the Tournament Rules to see how the final standing is determined in case of a tie.

Knockout Stage

  • Each bracket in every stage will consist on a single game.

  • The teams that finishes in 3rd place during the group stage, will play a Playoff to progress to the next round.

  • Teams that finishes in 1st or 2nd place during the group stage will progress directly to Round of 16.

  • The winner of each bracket during this stage will progress to the next round. (Please refer to the Tournament Rules to see how the winner is determined in case of a tie)

  • The loser teams are knocked-out of the tournamet, and they won’t play any other official game during the tournament.

  • The winner of the Final will be the new Champions!!
